After being based in 3 cities, 3 EPs, 4 music videos, opening for national acts, their music licensed to several TV shows, close to 3 million plays and views on MySpace and closing in on 250,000 friends, featured in Radio & Records trade magazine, recently touring in Greenland to play for the US troops, etc….On Tracy Lane has finally arrived. OTL has released their debut full-length CD entitled “Are We Rich Yet?”, followed up by 3 brand new tracks recorded by platinum-selling producer Noel Golden (Whitesnake, Edwin McCain, Matchbox 20).

Originating in Los Angeles in 2003, OTL did a music video in 2004 with Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five) to get the wheels turning. After many shows on the West Coast, the band relocated to St. Louis, MO in 2005 and released The OTL EP. This release was the music and marketing that would lead to OTL being one of the biggest acts on MySpace. The band played all over the Midwest, opening for many national acts including Avril Lavigne and Butch Walker.

In 2007, OTL shifted its headquarters to the music capital of the world, Nashville, TN. Mike Puwal, producer for Insane Clown Posse, produced their new OTL EP entitled, Pretend the Thing with Charlie Never Happened. OTL played the Nashville circuit, as well as many regional shows, to promote the EP. In December 2008, the band received the opportunity through Armed Forces Entertainment to play overseas for the troops in Greenland. The experience of playing for the troops was very humbling and brought the band to a high they had never reached before.

In 2009, On Tracy Lane released their first full-length, Are We Rich Yet? and were signed by Octave Match Records soon after. The release was distributed nationwide and led to airplay all over the college radio scene. Their single, “Snowballs in LA”, became the most requested song at WSIA 88.9 FM in Staten Island, NY. Unfortunately, OTL parted ways with their label in 2010 and brought the band back to their hometown of St. Louis, MO. Soon after, OTL made their live TV debut on NBC and CBS affiliates and continued to bring the rock all over their hometown. OTL has established themselves as one of the top acts in St. Louis and continues to do the same in every city they bring their live show to.

In 2011, OTL signed with agency Entertainment 29 to help with the next push to the top. With the help of Larry Chaney and Dave Harrison from Edwin McCain, OTL recorded 3 tracks with producer Noel Golden (Whitesnake, Edwin McCain, Matchbox 20) at Whitestone Studios in South Carolina. The tracks have brought a new dimension to OTL’s music and will help carry them to the next level.

OTL is currently gearing up for a new set of shows that will take place later this year. With the help of new bass player, James Reed, OTL is bigger and better than ever. Keep on the lookout for On Tracy Lane in the upcoming months.
